This position provides a unique opportunity to begin building a career with a talented and motivated team working with clients that are shaping the future of travel, lifestyle, retail, hospitality and culinary destinations. You will support a variety of strategic communications plans by owning media relations, project management and writing tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications, journalism, hospitality, experiential events and culinary destinations. Excellent writing and organizational skills are a must.Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Cities teamis in-office 3 daysper week.ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSAs an Account Coordinator on the Cities & Lifestyle team, you will...Implement strategy, creative brainstorming and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accountsPitch and place media stories across local, regional and national outlets; build and maintain press listsWrite and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as client emails, press releases, fact sheets, talking points, media pitches and communications plansOversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing meeting agendas and sharing press coverage and event recapsManage work streams across multiple accountsSupport teams at client media eventsEssential skills: Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications from working with a PR agency, media outlet or in-house communications team, or in politics, government or advocacyInterest in PR around the lifestyle and hospitality industriesAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writingAbility to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work with a team to meet group objectivesNote: Interested in this role, but it's not quite the right match?
