Senior Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and technically proficient Senior Electrical Estimator with expertise in the BaltimoreWashington commercial construction market. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of estimating experience across a variety of commercial projects, including schools, hospitals, and federal work.We're looking for a results-driven professional with a proven track record of success-someone who is passionate about the electrical industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to excellence. Familiarity with the Baltimore industry and surrounding counties is essential, along with a mindset focused on innovation and efficiency.Requirements Plan, coordinate, and direct all estimating functions, including project budgets, cost tracking, and departmental standards. Manage and review bid requests, proposals, and estimate submissions. Develop and maintain a structured bid calendar, ensuring accurate and timely estimate completion. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to estimators and project teams. Attend job walks, report on discrepancies in drawings and bid requirements. Prepare bid summaries and review estimates with project managers and leadership. Analyze estimate results against completed project data. Maintain an organized estimating database and tracking system. Develop and implement training programs for estimating best practices. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction. Field experience as an electrician or a degree in Construction Management is preferred. Proficiency in electrical estimating software and ability to conceptually estimate projects. Strong working knowledge of electrical construction, National Electrical Code, and related systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and related digital tools.
