Print Supervisor - 1st Shift

Summary:Exciting new opening for a 1st shift Print Supervisor at a growing company in DeForest! This a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing printing operations across prepress, press, and post-press production. This position ensures high-quality output, efficient workflow, and team performance while actively collaborating with the production department. Ideal candidates will have a background in printing along with prior leadership experience.Schedule:Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pmCompensation:Salary starts at $60K with consideration of experience levelFull benefits package availableResponsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the printing process, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to production goals.Actively engage in production when needed, troubleshooting issues and supporting team members.Develop and implement training plans to enhance team skills and meet business objectives.Provide hands-on leadership by fostering a collaborative, performance-driven environment.Monitor and maintain equipment, coordinating necessary maintenance to minimize downtime.Track and analyze department performance, identifying and addressing process gaps.Provide ongoing feedback, performance appraisals, and coaching to direct reports.Ensure compliance with safety policies, corporate training, and administrative procedures.Manage department budgets, including material usage, labor costs, and operational expenses.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in a print production environment.3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or printing setting.Strong knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and software.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.#indMMIS
