Metalexis looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in our Libertyville, IL facility. The Buyer will investigate, research, and select suppliers based on company requirements for cost, quality and delivery performance. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.Looking for an energetic, hands-on individual to grow into a key role within our Maintenance team. Great growth opportunity for the right candidate with a "get it done" attitude.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance, repair, and installation of machines and equipment in a stamping metal fabrication facility.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programsInspect plant machinery and equipment regularly to identify and resolve issuesEnsure that safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during maintenance operationsCoordinate with other departments for shutdowns and startupsLead, supervise and train the maintenance team to ensure effective performanceManage the maintenance budget and ensure cost effectivenessKeep a record of all maintenance and repair work conductedProcure necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance workStay updated with latest maintenance techniques and best practicesManaging a team of skilled trades employees, general maintenance, millwright machine repair, as well as automation electricians.Plant liaison to contact and manage contract services, HVAC, building plus groundskeeping services, and various technical services for the plant equipment.Reviewing proposals for new equipment, tools, and facilities and planning for installationMaintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.QualificationsProven work experience as a maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a metal stamping setting.Strong knowledge of Presses, along with engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).BSc degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Engineering, or relevant field.Diversity & Inclusion StatementUPG Enterprises LLC and its Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
