This position is heavy on employee relations in a multi-site environment as the Human Resources Manager partners with Operations leadership and HR colleagues to develop strategies and support to meet the HR needs of the organization in the short and long total, this position supports 75 offices in Oregon and Washington and can be based out of our support center office in Vancouver, WA or Salem, OR.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties:Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business units being supported and manage all employee relations issues throughout the regionBuild and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, directors and executivesSupport Regional Vice President and Director of Operations in implementing performance improvement strategiesWork with Operations leadership regarding regional development needsCoach leadership on performance management, behavioral issues, policy interpretations and terminations to minimize legal exposureFacilitate and mediate interventions in order to resolve conflictLead change management projects and manage HR related communicationsDevelop and deliver HR related trainingProvide direction and leadership on employee recognition programsFacilitate talent review and succession planning processEnsure compliance with Federal, State and Local laws governing employmentConduct investigations to resolve complaints of harassment, discrimination or retaliationReview and approve disciplinary actions to ensure fairness and consistencyPartner with leaders to plan workforce reductions, including selection process and communicationCommunicate with legal counsel as necessary, may appear at legal proceedings on behalf of the CompanyParticipate in departmental planning; goals, budget review, system upgrades andor implementationEvaluate reports, decisions and results of initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and efficient operationsOther duties as may be assigned or modified as business needs dictate EDUCATION ANDOR EXPERIENCEA High School Diploma or GED is requiredA Bachelors Degree in a related field andor HR certification are preferredAt least seven years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-site, cross functional business unitCompensation: $80,000 $95,000
