Role:Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn is excited to look for Summer Camp Counselors to join our team. Our Summer Camp Counselors are vital to the success of our camps and are dedicated to providing campers with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment to ensure a well-rounded sports education and camp experience. Being a Summer Camp Counselor is a great way to gain experience and get your foot in the door at a world-class, growing sports and fitness company. Responsibilities:The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: Supervise all camper activities, ensuring the wellbeing of campers throughout the day Work with other camp staff to plan and coordinate camp events Oversee campers' compliance with rules and prevent accidents Maintain cleanliness of camp facility and equipment Maintain a professional attitude at all timesReport all incidents, such as camper illness, accidents, and rule violations to Camp Director Memorize all emergency proceduresQualificationsQualifications:Experience working with childrenMust be punctual, friendly, motivated, and alertMust be neat and well-groomedMust enjoy working in a team environmentMust have the ability to be flexible and rise above stressful situationsMust be able to commit for at least four or eight weeks of workMust be able to pass a swim evaluation
