Job Summary:We are seeking a full-time, organized, and professional Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a team player who is detail-oriented and can thrive in a demanding work environment. Monday-Friday 9a-5pKey Responsibilities:Maintain and update the ADP Payroll system for accurate payroll processing.Gather and analyze timecards for bi-weekly payroll utilizing the ADP Payroll system.Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in calculations, pay rates, and deductions.Track and report accrued vacation, sick, personal, and holiday days for full-time employees through bi-weekly spreadsheets for management review.Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with the Agency's company policies and regulations.Assist employees with payroll inquiries.Prepare payroll journal entries to record payroll allocations, adjustments, benefits, etc.Analyze benefit invoicesstatements from vendors and submit to accounting for payment.Handle sensitive employee information with a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.Support the Payroll Director with additional tasks as needed.Qualifications:Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor's degree, preferred.2-4 years of prior experience in accounting or payroll roles.Experience with payroll and timekeeping software; ADP Workforce Now and Timeforce preferred (training available).Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and thorough work.Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
