Sounds amazing, right? ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly experienced US Tax & Compliance Manager to lead our US finance compliance operations. This strategic position is designed for a professional with a strong background in multinational or service-oriented industries such as travel agencies, hospitality, or global mediaentertainment companies. The ideal candidate will oversee regional compliance processes, tax strategies, and audits, ensuring alignment with U.S. Tax & GAAP standards and corporate policies.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Expertise:Broad knowledge of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) with specialized expertise in the impact of international tax provisions Review and preparation of tax provisions, deferred tax assetsliabilities, and uncertain tax positions related to international operationsTax Expertise:Prepare andor review annual income tax federal and state returns for C Corporations and Pass-Through entities with experience in reviewing and preparing Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and 1118Technical Expertise in US International TaxationDeep understanding of US income taxation of corporations, including corporate reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and divestituresSkilled in defending tax return positions under IRS audits, preparing responses, and managing tax controversy mattersOperational & Research CapabilitiesAnalyze business operations and accounting records to identify income tax implicationsConduct in-depth research on applicable US and international tax laws to reach technical conclusionsEffectively communicate findings and recommendations both verbally and in written reportsCross-Functional Collaboration and Team Leadership:Work collaboratively across finance, accounting, legal, and operational departments to ensure compliance and tax efficiencyBuild strong relationships with stakeholders to align business strategies with tax considerationsProvide mentorship, training, and career development for tax personnelABOUT YOUProven experience in a senior management role within multinational organizations or service-oriented industries.Possess in-depth expertise in compliance, regional accounting processes, and tax management.Extensive knowledge of:US TAX & GAAP standardsCorporate income tax regulationsRegional compliance processes and accounting adjustmentsStrong background in managing audits, inspections, and administrative processes.Strong experience in managing regional compliance processes and inspections.Expertise in developing and monitoring KPIs for accounting and tax functions.Demonstrated ability to consolidate global accounts and provide strategic tax support.Effective leadership skills, with experience managing multi-level teams.BENEFITS & PERKSAttractive compensation package consisting of a base salary of 90k-100k, stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.40% off all Fever plansAccess to co-working space and opportunity for flexible working Opportunity to have a real impact in a high-growth global category leaderWork in a location in the heart of NYC, with possible travel across our marketsHybrid workingHealth and dental insuranceGympass membership401(K) PlanResponsibility from day one and professional and personal growthGreat work environment with a fun, international team of talented people to work with!Thank you for considering joining Fever.
