This role involves managing programs for public and private sector clients, focusing on project planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation. Candidates should have 8 or more years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, with a preference for individuals certified in PMP, LEED or another similar program. Proficiency in data analytics and excellent communication skills are essential.While the preference is for this person to be located in the Twin Cities Metro region, the right person may serve from any of our office locations. This role is crucial in advancing our company's sustainability goals and supporting our clients in achieving theirs.What You Will Be Doing:Responsible for business development and service area growth where you will:Lead sustainability initiatives, focusing on internal strategic planning and external development and implementation projectsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in community resilienceDevelop and enhance relationships with clients and stakeholdersPrepare proposals and presentations for potential projectsGrow community resilience planning and implementation projects where you will:Lead community resilience planning efforts that lead to implementation projectsCollaborate with local governments and organizations to develop resilience strategiesConduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation measuresCollaborate with project partners and agencies to advance planning and implementation projectsDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgetsManage sustainability projects from inception to completion and ensure they meet clients' goalsAdvance internal coordination and build communication strategies where you will:Coordinate sustainability efforts across various divisions and work groupsFacilitate cross-functional teams to achieve sustainability objectivesLead initiatives to enhance the company's sustainability performanceEnsure compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations and standardsCollaborate with clients to develop and implement sustainability strategiesProvide expert advice on community and industry best practicesConduct sustainability assessments and audits for clientsCommunicate sustainability initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholdersEngage with community partners and industry groups on sustainability issuesSupervises and coaches direct reports and mentors other team membersWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability project managementStrong knowledge of community resiliency planning and sustainability practicesExcellent project management and organizational skillsAbility to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersPersuasive communication and presentation skillsCertification in sustainability or project management (e.g., LEED, PMP) is a plusPassionate about sustainability and environmental stewardshipProactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detailAbility to think strategically and drive innovative solutionsEffective time management, organizational and critical thinking skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationshipsSalary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and specific geographic location.
