Assistant Controller / Manufacturing Industry

Top Job Located in Cincinnati, OH Salary: $120-130KPosition: Assistant Controller Industry: ManufacturingCompensation: $120-130K Location: Springdale, OHResponsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze financial data and generate reports to support business decisions.Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.Cost Accounting & Inventory Management:Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations and valuation.Work closely with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.Provide variance analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Support long-term financial planning and ternal Controls & Compliance:Maintain and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.Support audits (internal & external) by preparing necessary documentation.Ensure tax compliance and assist with regulatory filings.Process Improvement & Systems Management:Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Work with ERP and financial systems to ensure data integrity.Assist in software upgrades and integrations related to financial reporting.Qualifications:Previous experience as an Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant is required Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required Previous experience with ERP is required, EPICOR is a plus Expert with Microsoft Excel Previous experience with Cost Accounting is required Bachelor's Degree is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.Bills of Material experience #SRGDHExpress Office: Cincinnati (Northwest) 3551 Springdale RoadCincinnati, OH 45251
