Quality Supervisor

Our client is a global cosmetics manufacturer providing innovative and sustainable solutions as a strategic partner to international beauty brand clients. They are seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee product inspection and in-process testing at their GMP production facility. SalaryHourly Rate: $90k - $110K Position Overview: The Quality Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all quality inspection, testing, and a team of 10 inspectors. The Quality Supervisor will 1be responsible for batch approvalsrejections, COAs, samples and all related quality documentation. The Quality Supervisor will create schedules for staff according to production demands, and manage the team (labor allocation, training, performance evaluations, discipline, etc.). The Quality Supervisor will report to the VP of Quality. Responsibilities of the Quality Supervisor: Oversee product inspection process and testing of materials and finished products. Perform approval and rejection of batches and manage any product holds. Complete quality documentation for internal compliance, tracking, and documentation required by clients. Manage staff schedules and performance, ensure positive work environment and perform corrective measures as needed to improve performance and maintain efficiency. Train QC Inspectors on proper protocol, GMPs, FDA compliance, and all safety regulations. Required ExperienceSkills for the Quality Supervisor: 5 years of quality experience in the cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods industry. Supervisory experience, managing a team in a Quality department. Knowledge of GMPs, GLP, and FDA regulations. Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence needed to manage conflict and solve personnel issues. Strong teaching skills to train staff properly and implement new procedures as needed. Education Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (such as Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) is required.
