Medical Claims Examiner

The CSI Companies has partnered with a leading healthcare organization looking to add a Medical Claims Examiner to their team, headquartered in the Clearwater, FL area. This is a contract-to-hire position Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST. *While on contract, the job will be ON-SITE. After the contract ends, you will have the opportunity to work remote Monday's and Friday's. Pay: $19-22hr based on experience Responsibilities: Responsible for working closely with the Claims Supervisor and Manager of Claims Operations to ensure that claims received are adjudicated in a timely manner and accurately Responsible for adjudicating claims in assigned work queues based on written Policies and Procedures and the terms of Certificates, Sharing Guidelines and Plan Documents of clients; Diligently reviewing all system-generated edits which have been applied to claims in the Examiner's assigned queues prior to releasing the claims Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly required production levels documented in Claims Department Policies and Procedures Complete other duties as assigned Requirements: 2-3 years of medical claims processing experience required Proficient using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access High School Diploma is required Interested?
