Shop Technician I- Temporary Assignment Hourly Range: $16.00-$18.00, depending on experienceToshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology. Overview Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Technician to join our team in Fisher's, IN. As a Shop Technician you will play a crucial role in the achieving our client's request for equipment as you are in-house, service, setting up and completing the refurbishment of equipment in accordance with Toshiba Manufacturer quality standards.Moreover, as you prove your success in this role, you'll build cross-functional expertise and business acumen, opening doors for future career growth at here at Toshiba. What You'll Do Responsible for the setup of all equipment requested for demo pool, sold orders, service loaners, and refurbished equipment at on-site location. Ensure showroom is in working order and all machines are maintained in a clean and proper manner. Ensure machines have proper paperwork, accessories, supplies and updates before they leave. Ensure accuracy of serial numbers and products on order staging paperwork.Troubleshoot failures and repairs for copiersfaxduplicators equipment. Refurbish used equipment, which includes cleaning and repairing. Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure they are in service-ready condition.Assist with warehouse duties and serve as back up for delivery driver. Assist in loading and unloading machines from delivery trucks. Complete assignments according to priority while executing proper time management.Submit accurate call reports. Ensure all demo and sale equipment's setup to Toshiba's standards and meets installation schedules. Inform Shop Supervisor if there is a problem preventing the release of plete service training as required by TBS. Complete basic dealer and manufacturer training on specified systems. Attend department meetings as required. Qualifications High School DiplomaGED.A minimum of one year of experience as a Shop Technician or in a technical repair and service of copieroffice equipmentAbility to lift 50 lbs. Job involves frequent bending, lifting and reaching.Must have good communication skills (written and verbal) including tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.Electromechanical, electronics or computer background preferred.
