We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a hands-on environment.Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual machines to perform precision machining operationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining processesSelect and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specificationsMonitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as neededInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and precision standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAccurately read measuring instruments down to .0001Operate lathes, knee mills, band saws, and various hand toolsSet up and run jobs assigned by supervisorRead and interpret drawings and printsTake instructions on or assist in repairs and maintenance around the plantExperience:Previous experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role is requiredStrong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manual machining operationsProficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipersAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and qualityExperience with manual milling machines and lathesKnowledge of warehouse operations for inventory managementAbility to perform welding tasks when requestedIf you are a skilled Manual Machinist looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you!
