In addition, there is premium meeting and event space, including a 6,000 square-foot pillar-less ballroom with three walls of windows overlooking Central Park.About the jobBased at the Mandarin Oriental New York within the Sales Department in New York City, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for support group sales managers with all business relating to group sales.The Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Sales.As Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties: Communicate with clients directly to follow-up on rooming lists, cut-off dates, guest preferences, etc. Liaison for clients who book rooms only groups - i.e. incentives, social, entertainment Assist with group resumes and group contracts Order office supplies for the sales department Create Purchase Orders for invoices on behalf of the department Process Gift Certificates Coordinate all necessary needs for groups while in-house i.e. welcome amenities, gift deliveries, key packets, transfers, spa appointments, F&B outlet reservations, etc. Manage the HMSSalesforce interface as related to group room blocks Run Salesforce reports daily to review any discrepancies with HMS Act as Salesforce champion to ensure hotel compliance with MOHG corporate guidelines Run group pace report on a monthly basis Attend weekly GRC meetings as well as monthly sales meetings Communicate Daily Events with Front Office on behalf of the department 2.
