People Operations ManagerDepartment: OperationsEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Remote (USA)DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented People Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. Reporting to and collaborating closely with the VP of People and Culture, this role combines talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational excellence to create a seamless employee experience while aligning recruitment and people strategies with company goals.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent AcquisitionLead the full-cycle recruitment process for IT roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiationsDevelop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and staffing needsCollaborate with hiring managers to create clear job descriptions and define staffing requirementsSource top IT talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, industry networks, and employee referrals, while maintaining a strong talent pipelineManage relationships with external recruiting agencies and vendors as neededOversee the candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and a positive processTrack recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) to optimize efficiency and effectivenessStay current on industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and salary benchmarksChampion diversity initiatives in recruiting practicesMentor and develop a team of recruiters to meet hiring objectivesPeople OperationsDesign and refine onboarding processes to welcome and support new hires, including first-day logistics and resource allocationTrack employee training, certifications, and career development to support professional growth and succession planningDevelop and implement employee retention strategies to enhance job satisfactionMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulationsManage documentation for team changes, promotions, salary adjustments, and performance improvement plansImprove processes for team operations, scheduling, and communication tools, and enhance the employee portal with resources and opportunities for connectionMonitor and analyze industry trends to continuously refine people operations strategiesCulture and EngagementConduct regular check-ins with employees to gather feedback and align on goalsOrganize and lead employee engagement activities, such as team-building exercises, social gatherings, wellness workshops, and volunteer opportunitiesEnhance communication and connection through creative use of Slack and other toolsLead holiday planning and other initiatives to foster engagement and celebrate milestonesMaintain feedback loops to continuously improve the workplace environment and address concerns promptlySkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record of recruiting for technical positionsExpertise in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and specialized tech job boardsFamiliarity with HRIS systems and data analytics tools to enhance people operationsExperience managing organizational change and supporting business transformationStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical skills, with experience using recruitment metrics to drive improvementPassion for innovation in talent acquisition and delivering exceptional candidate experiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience in an IT consulting firmInternational contractor management experienceKnowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and emerging technologiesSHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plusBenefitsBenefits of full-time remote work but with a close team environment.
