Responsibilities will include, but not limited to Room patientsObtain patients' chief complaints and medical historiesAssist our physicians during patient examinationAssist with surgical proceduresSuture removal and medical dressingsComplete paperwork for laboratoriesNotify patients with pathology andor laboratory resultsEducate patientsSchedule appointmentsAutoclaveStock examsurgical roomsAll other standard medical assistant dutiesWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes paid time off, paid holidays, medical insurance, dental insurance and short term disability options. QualificationsWho we are looking for:You have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant programStrong focus on producing repeatable outcomes within defined processesCautious, examines the facts and uses established procedures in decision-makingCommunicates in a factual, polite, and professional mannerBe able to work 8 hours shifts, five days per week.No time restrictions between 8a-530pAs part of your candidacy with Affiliated Dermatology®, we'd like you to complete two assessments, which will take about 20 minutes to complete - the Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments.The Behavioral Assessment measures your hard-wired, natural behaviors and strengths- or you at your very best. It takes about six minutes to complete.The Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute, time assessment that assesses your natural learning style. (Some people learn methodically and go narrow and deep, others quickly and broadly, for example.)These assessments help us understand which of our roles would be best suited to a person's natural strengths, and allows us to get to know them better.
