Primary responsibilities include mentoring and developing the accounting team, month-end close, annual financial statements audit and internal financials preparation, and accounting systems implementation to support the continued growth of the organization. Additional responsibilities may include assistance with private equity requests, bank compliance, annual forecast budget preparation process and other tasks.Key Responsibilities: Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.Evaluates and implements internal controls; develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP's).Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.Oversees all accounting functions to include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Banking & Treasury.Coordinate with outside consultants for information related to sales and use tax, fixed assetmanagement, and income tax preparation, and license renewals.Works with external auditors, banks and provides needed information for the annual audit and bank covenants compliance.Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.Assists with periodic forecasting and budgeting process.Responsible for financial training for existing and new restaurant management personnel.Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.10 years or more of accounting experience is required.Certified Public Accountant designation is required.Advanced Excel skills to include Power Pivot, PowerQuery, Suite experience is a plusExcellent management and supervisory skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Experience in Restaurant, Retail or Hospitality industry is preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.#IND1Other details Pay Type Salary Apply Now
