DARCARS is now hiring for a part-time Rental Agent!As a Rental Agent you will have the responsibility of coordinating rental arrangements for our service department customers. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a desire to provide a great customer this role, you'll:Schedule customer reservations for rentalsManage customer rental requests and locating the desired vehicles to meet their needsProcess customer information to qualify that the customer is eligible for a rental through insuranceEnsure rental cars are ready for use by scheduling timely service and maintenance on the rental fleet and clean inside and outTake notes on car condition, mileage and damage before and after customer useProcess any damage information to be billed or collected through insuranceExplain rental policy at time of agreement and answer any questionsValidate customer's credentials including but not limited to driver's license and payment informationCommunicate with customers via phone, email or in personProcess customer paymentsFor this role, you'll need:Previous rental agent experience is a plus!Positive and friendly attitudeOrganizational skills and high attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHigh School Degree or Equivalent (GED)Must be at least eighteen years of ageMust be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)BenefitsInsurance: medical, vision, dentalShort-term and long-term disability plansLife Insurance401(k)Paid holidays & PTOEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairsOpportunities to join our community service initiativesInternal career advancement opportunitiesThis job advertisement in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
