Our finance team islocated across the US, primarily based in New York City.Key responsibilities include:•Ability to understand US GAAP•Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue, accounts receivable,allowances and deferred revenue to ensure an accurate and timely revenue close,ensure compliance with US GAAP and the company's revenue recognition policiesunder ASC 606•Enter and renew all customer contracts within the Company's revenue trackingsystem SaasOptics, applying proper ASC 606 treatment to each contract•Report revenue metrics for company performance•Track and analyze monthly expense details within the P&L. Providing commentaryand analytics on reporting during month close•Oversee vendor invoices, approve both supplier invoices and settlement runs•Reconcile our panel of 250+ third party specialists and prepare all relevant entries toCOGS•Review and approve monthly expenses and balance sheet journal entries. Alsoreview reconciliations for month end close reporting•Preparing the monthly consolidation with one international and multiple domesticsubsidiaries•Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions and proper eliminations•Building new processes and to streamline current workflows to be more efficient•Collaborating cross functionally across multiple departments•Assisting with budget analysis to forecast and provide commentary•Work closely with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit forexternal and internal procedures. Coordinate and produce documents for thefinancial statement auditors•Special projects and ad hoc requests as neededDesired skills and experience:•Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance; Active CPA or CPA eligiblestrongly preferred•5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, with a mix of private and publicaccounting experience preferred•In depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP•Must be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and exhibit solidproblem-solving skills•Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to work across multipleteams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment•Strong excel skills, may need to analyze large data sets•Experience in Workday preferred but not necessary•Familiarity with additional financial reporting tools such as SaasOptics, Avalara andStripe, strongly preferredOur Hiring PhilosophyRubiconMD's founding mission is to democratize medical expertise, so that all patientpopulations have access to the care they need.
