Sr. MDM QA Engineer

Job Title :: Sr. MDM QA Engineer Location :: Irvine, CA Hands-on experience in QA with at least 8+ years of experience Should have good understanding of ETL (Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ) & good exposure to MDM(Master data management) systems (preferable Informatica MDM) Should be well versed in writing SQL queries Should be able to perform API Testing, message queues Should work with multiple LOBs & support UAT Should have excellent communication, analytical skills Drives coordination with SMEs and different teams like Infrastructure, network, development, Sales and Business teams Understand business data requirements and define the test case and conduct review with Business counterpart , and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service Understand the data model used in global data MDM and solutions Understand the concepts and attributes of the data Validate quality of data and steer data quality improvement action plans Ensure and assess data quality of global data, building KPIs (incident management, completeness of data, etc.) and setting up and automate consistency checks Identify root causes of potential malfunctions and allocate actions to the right stakeholders. Partner with Product Owners and Data Engineers to Understand the pipeline implementation plan Identify vulnerabilities through rigorous testing procedures. Examine the user stories and functional requirements from a quality perspective
