We are seeking a Senior Accountant to bring their expertise to our financial team, focusing on detailed cost analysis and strategic financial management within a manufacturing this role, you will take ownership of analyzing manufacturing costs, developing and maintaining standard costs, and collaborating across departments to drive cost efficiency and improve financial performance. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and have a proven track record in manufacturing cost accounting, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Analyze financial information, operating results, and manufacturing costs.Prepare variance reports, KPI reports, and inventory analysis.Develop and maintain standard costs, monitor cost variances, and collaborate with purchasing and operations to improve cost accuracy.Process monthly commissions and prepare sales data reports. Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and annual budgets.Support special projects and reporting requirements with the Controller and other managers.Recommend and implement cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.Coordinate with external auditors for annual reviews.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accountingCost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required.Knowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookup's and pivot tables.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401k match, paid time off and tuition reimbursement).Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Our headquarters are located in Largo, FL.
