Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a Contracts Analyst, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities related to all phases of the contract life cycle. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the adoption of OTECH's new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, with an emphasis on inputting contractual information into Deltek CostPoint, on which the company relies for informed decision making and accurate reporting. Key responsibilities include: •Diverse Duties: Join forces with the Contracts and Major Subcontracts teams in areas such as non-disclosure agreements, proposal support, contract administration, reporting, audits and contract closeout. •Analyze Contractual Documentation: Review contractual documentation, including verification of accuracy and completeness, and identify pertinent contractual information to be entered into ERP including basic contract information, applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) system clauses and other terms and conditions. •Data Entry Hero: Be the go-to person for making sure crucial contractual information is accurately and promptly recorded into Deltek CostPoint to facilitate contract administration, work authorizations, report generation, financial information, audits, data calls and more. Partner with colleagues in Finance and other functional departments to ensure timely and seamless flow of communication and data entry. •Process Pioneer: Collaborate with others to develop new processes and work instructions for entry of contractual information into Deltek CostPoint and report writing in support of contract administration. •CostPoint Contracts Coach: Share your CostPoint knowledge by developing andor delivering training and know-how on the functionality of the CostPoint contracts module and report writing features. Become Contracts' CostPoint Subject Matter Expert. •Contracts Process Innovator: Drive positive change by developing an understanding of the company and industry and subsequently influencing process improvement. Pinpoint areas for enhancement within the Contracts organization and develop solutions to support related process improvement initiatives. •Build Foundational Knowledge:Gain or increase familiarity with (i) U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) system, (ii) security and document handling requirements, and (iii) contract management system documentation and record retention requirements and best practices. •Embrace Special Projects: Take on special projects and other assignments as opportunities arise. QualificationsESSENTIALREQUIRED: •Bachelor's degree. •3-5 years' work experience. •Desire and ability to learn with a strong work ethic. Self-starter with a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and to adapt to new systems and information quickly. •Attention to detail and accuracy. •Demonstrates critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify potential. solutions, even in complex and ambiguous situations. DESIRED: •Expertise contracting with the U.S. Government as either a prime contractor and a subcontractor and under a variety of contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, etc.)•Experience with Deltek CostPoint. Additional InformationThis position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office.
