RN Cath Lab - Morristown NJ

Position : RN Cath Lab Dept : Operating Room Type : 13-Week Contract Location : Morristown, NJ Census : 2 labs - 5 Beds in Unit Weekly Rate : $3,000 (Travel Package Offered) Schedule: Nights: 7pm - 7:30am - 3x12, with rotating weekends Requirements : Associate Degree in Nursing NJ or Compact State RN License AHA BLS and ACLS Certification 2 years of recent Vascular or Cath Lab experience Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition throughout the procedure. Administer medications and manage acute pain as required. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize medical imaging techniques and equipment effectively during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records using Epic or similar electronic health record systems. Educate patients and their families about procedures, recovery, and home community care options.
