Certified Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

**$2,500 Hire Bonus Available**Join the Urgent Care team as a Washington State credentialed Medical Assistant-Certified! Hiring range is between $21.18-$26.54hour and placement in the range is dependent on evaluation of experience.Available Differentials: Evening ($3.00hour), Saturday and Sunday ($2.50hour)Must have active Washington State Department of Health, Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.Available Schedules: (will transition to schedule after successful completion of training to include varying weekdayweekend shifts)Columbia Tech Center (40 hoursweek): Wednesday (6 hour shift), Thursday (12 hour shift), Friday (12 hour shift) and every other weekend (10 hour shifts each day)Battle Ground (40 hourweek): Wednesday (6.5 hours), Thursday (12 hours), Friday (12 hours) and every other weekend (9.5 hours each day)87th Ave. (40 hoursweek): Monday (12 hour shift), Tuesday (12 hour shift), Wednesday (6 hour shift), and every other weekend (10 hour shifts each day)Ridgefield (40 hoursweek): Float schedule with varying shifts between 6:30am and 11:30pm. Schedule will include two full weekends (Saturday and Sunday shifts) per this role you will: Room patients and take manual vitals and operate an automated BP machineCollect data and report in the EMR, work the MA in-basket managing prescription requestsPerform clinical skills such as ear lavage, EKG, sterile set-up, injections, immunizations, point-of care testing, swabbing, phlebotomyReceive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers. And use critical thinking skills to find resources and follow protocols and policiesWork independently and as a team memberAbility to wear a mask all day and an N95 in cases where protocol directs.Have strong time management and delegation skills to prioritize workflowRequirements:Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) requiredCurrent Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required.Current healthcare provider BLS required.**Bonus awarded is prorated by FTE and subject to repayment terms and applicable tax withholding.
