The Analyst will be a fundamental team member of a core group within the organization that interacts with a wide variety of bank and securities products globallyThe responsibilities for the Analyst include:Lead the execution of leveraged finance transactions and bespoke strategic solutions for Sponsor clientsConstructing and analyzing detailed financial modelsPerforming financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analysesManage key aspects of business and financial due diligence and credit underwriting processesFundamental credit analyses and research including analyzing credit documentationAssisting in financing structuring, underwriting transaction evaluation, due diligence and executionAssisting in running sell-side processes and assessing M&A transactionsWorking closely with our product specialists in delivering tailored solutions to our Sponsor clients across the full product suite (debt capital markets, derivatives, advisory and structured solutions)Liaising with product and sector teams in preparing presentation materials and participating in deal and pitchesConducting industry and product researchQualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance or economics and a minimum of 1 years of investment banking experience with a top tier global bankPrior credit training, structured credit and or leveraged finance experience preferredM&A experience is a plusAbility to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlinesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong quantitative, communication, interpersonal skills and ability to convey ideasAdvanced proficiency with CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft OfficeSeries 79 & 63Personal Traits:High degree of initiative and motivationAttention to detailComposure and confidence to manage conflicting prioritiesCapability to apply oral and written communication skills to create a positive impression and professional rapportResults oriented and a team playerSeeking new opportunities to learn and expand beyond traditional investment banking rolesThe expected base salary ranges from $110K - $130k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
