Primary Function:We are seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team as Full-Time Training Instructors for the Train & Earn program team. Instructors will be responsible for leading and conducting training activities focused on empowering youth with essential life and occupational skills. This position requires expertise in education, particularly in fields related to the healthcare sector. Successful candidates will have experience supporting Out of School, Out of Work (OSOW) youth in various aspects including occupational and life skills training, college preparation and enrollment, and coordination of training and tutoring services.Salary range for this role will be $40,000 to $45,000 based on education, training and experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct training activities aimed at equipping youth with essential life and occupational skills.Provide comprehensive work readiness training, literacy skills development, and technical or occupational skills training.Facilitate workshops on financial literacy education, including topics such as spending and budgeting, savings, credit, financial aid, and debt management.Facilitate workshops on entrepreneurial skills training, including entrepreneurship education, enterprise development, and experiential programs.Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in education or a relevant field related to healthcare sector.Demonstrated experience supporting youth in occupational and life skills training, college preparation and enrollment, andor coordination of training and tutoring services.Familiarity with standards developed andor endorsed by employers in the healthcare sector.Phipps Houses and Affiliates is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, citizenship or national origin, ancestry, alienage, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
