REVENUE ACCOUNTANTPosition SummaryThe Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the end-to-end billing process for CFS Self-Directed Medicaid and OPWDD.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Medicaid and OPWDD Billing: Prepare and transmit all Medicaid and OPWDD billings for Self-Directed Supports to funders, including accounting, documentation, submission, and voice Preparation: Prepare invoices in the General Ledger related to the NY and NJ DDD contract and Housing Subsidy billing, ensuring monthly reconciliation.Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile Self-Directed expenses monthly to ensure accuracy and completeness.Cash Application: Collaborate weekly with the Treasurer to investigate cash application errors and ensure all cash is correctly applied.Claim Resubmission: Work with the collections manager to review and resubmit previously denied claims.Funder Communication: Contact funding agencies on matters of fiscal importance, ensuring clear and effective communication.Data Analysis: Analyze billing data for trends and produce analytic reports to inform decision-making.ISS Payments: Manage monthly ISS payments ensuring accuracy.Audit Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with external auditors regarding revenue and accounts receivable requests.Billing Issue Resolution: Work with program managers and funders to address and resolve billing-related issues.Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
