This position is based at our Carol Stream, IL facility. Relocation assistance is provided for those within the United StatesPR. The Finance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team and will report directly to the Finance Director. This role is instrumental to define strategy and manage business performance including all financial analysis of forecasts and actual performance, business drivers, and operational metrics.The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:Develop and manage plant profit plans, forecasts, reports, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with Eaton's business objectives and leadership values.Consolidate plant performance, recommend corrective actions, and communicate effectively to inspire and engage team members.Review financial data for accuracy, maintaining integrity and transparency in reports.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and local requirements, demonstrating integrity and ethical leadership.Implement budgeting and reporting systems, control product costing, and drive innovation in financial processes.Oversee internal controls, assess financial reporting, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Evaluate and approve capital appropriation requests, fostering a culture of prudent financial management.Manage hiring, training, and development of financial staff, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.Deploy cost-saving programs, support continuous improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance plant productivity and profitability.Ensure finance responsibilities are defined and communicated, fostering collaboration and teamwork across the plant.Provide leadership for cost accounting processes, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, and periodic cycle counts, ensuring operational excellence.Additional QualificationsResponsibilitiesQualifications:Required Basic Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years professional work experience in manufacturing Minimum five (5) years experience in Finance andor AccountingMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Relocation assistance is available for this position to those within the United StatesPR. Candidates within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL will also be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Business andor Operations Management from an accredited institutionCPACMA Certification Bilingual skills in SpanishKnowledge of ERP, Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting systems (Oracle, MFGPro, ENCORE, etc.) Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence tools.Ability to execute in a matrixed environment with strong influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and influence employees at all levels within the organization, and employees of diverse cultures.Broad knowledge of key operational systems including sales inventory operations planning (SIOP), materials planning systems (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and quality systems with diverse experience managing varied and complex manufacturing processes.Strong leadership skills along with proven capability to deliver results and build high performance teams.
