Job DetailsJob LocationGilbert - Gilbert, AZDescriptionSalad & Sandwich cooks are responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items in the cold hot station and assisting in other areas of the kitchen.LINE COOK TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Setting up stations according to restaurant guidelinesPreparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely mannerRestocking all items needed throughout shiftCleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skillsAssisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areasPerforming additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen ManagerAdhering to all Spinato's Specifications and RecipesAdhering to all Spinato's Policies and Procedures as stated in your employee handbookAdhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency Station RolesSalad: Will plate and sell all tickets on salad lineDemonstrate correct knowledge on ticket prioritiesUnderstand when to sell tickets without being prompted by expoMake all dessertsEffectively float to sandwich station or assist in prep when station is slowSandwich:Plate and sell all tickets on sandwich lineDemonstrate correct knowledge of ticket prioritiesThoroughly read tickets and take lead on firing of any non-pizza ticketsEffectively float to salad station or assist in prep when station is slowFloat:Goes between both salad and sandwich station assisting with tickets or prep Show knowledge of which station needs most attention and know correct priorities of what needs to be doneWhen both stations do not need help assist rest of kitchen or dish with what needs to be doneQualificationsPOSITION REQUIRES:Lifting up toover 50 poundsEnvironmental exposures to cold, heat and waterStanding for up to 8 hours at one timeWorking shifts up to 12 hoursFood Handler CertificationStore managers will contact and set up interviews with applicants that meet all requirements.
