Job Title: Construction Law AttorneyLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experienceWork Arrangement: Onsite, with occasional travel to clients' sitesOur client, a respected legal firm with a significant presence in the vibrant South Florida construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Law Attorney to join their Fort Lauderdale office. This firm specializes in high-profile construction projects across Florida and the Caribbean, representing a wide range of clients, including ENR "Top 400" contractors, large specialty subcontractors, construction management firms, and sureties. With deep expertise in construction law, the firm supports its clients through every phase of construction, from project development and contract formation to litigation and alternative dispute resolution.Key Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel on all aspects of construction projects, including project development, contract formation, and project administration.Represent clients in claims resolution, litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution proceedings.Act as project counsel to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks throughout the construction lifecycle.Collaborate with a team of Board-Certified attorneys and leverage extensive experience in Florida's construction law landscape.Key Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the Florida Bar.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law, including litigation and dispute resolution.Strong knowledge of Florida construction law and project management processes.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications:Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar.Experience representing large construction firms or contractors on high-profile projects.Familiarity with construction-related insurance and surety claims.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage qualified individuals to apply.
