We strongly believe that the key to this is through our incredible staff!What you will do:The Director of Rehabilitation Services directs the three rehab departments of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to ensure the highest quality of rehab services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CMS guidelines. Specific Job Requirements:Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needsMust have functional knowledge of payer reimbursementMust have functional knowledge of labor management and strategiesMust have functional knowledge of supply budgetsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mailMust exercise good body mechanics at all timesMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMust be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityMust have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentMust perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary andor confidential informationMust understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Caldera Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEducation, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:Must have an active license in physical (BSPT, MSPT, DPT, or PTA), occupational (BSOT, MSOT, COTA), or speech (MA, MS, CCC SLP, or CFY SLP) therapy and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license typeMust be currently registeredlicensed with applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.Must have two (2) years' supervisory experience in post acute care or related settingMust have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
