We strongly believe that the key to this is through our incredible staff!What you will do:The Director of Rehabilitation Services directs the three rehab departments of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to ensure the highest quality of rehab services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CMS guidelines. Specific Job Requirements:Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needsMust have functional knowledge of payer reimbursementMust have functional knowledge of labor management and strategiesMust have functional knowledge of supply budgetsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mailMust exercise good body mechanics at all timesMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMust be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityMust have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentMust perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary andor confidential informationMust understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Caldera Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEducation, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:Must have an active license in physical (BSPT, MSPT, DPT, or PTA), occupational (BSOT, MSOT, COTA), or speech (MA, MS, CCC SLP, or CFY SLP) therapy and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license typeMust be currently registeredlicensed with applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.Must have two (2) years' supervisory experience in post acute care or related settingMust have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.Essential Functions:Must be able to recruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise Rehab department staffMust be able to oversee and evaluate care given by therapy studentsMust be able to direct the growth, development, and maintenance of rehab programsMust be able to function as staff therapist as caseload requiresMust be able to maintain appropriate staffing patterns as clinically indicatedMust be able to utilize therapy software appropriately and accuratelyMust be able to effectively manage department budgetMust exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsMust be able to assist in the evacuation of patientsMust demonstrate dependable, regular attendanceMust be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentMust be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamMust be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hoursMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageCaldera Cares for you!Competitive pay scaleFull benefits package - Medical, Dental, and Vision401k Life and Disability InsurancePaid Time offPay Transparency Statement Compensation for roles at Edmonds Care varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience.
