Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy toward patients and colleagues. Ensure all patients are checked-in, checked-out in Epic system in a timely manner. Ensure end-of-the-day No-Show is done in Epic system for Medical Clinic. Registers patients, verifies demographic and insurance information and PCP assignment. Check for Medicaid restrictions if patient is covered by Medicaid. Ensure the PCP assigned matches the PCP assignment contained in Epic. Refers non-insured, new and out-of-network patients to the Financial CounselorCollect Credit Card copayment and palm scan at the front desk point of service. Refer all patient making copayment by cash or check to the Cashiers office. Obtain required signatures for all required consents, as well as information on Advance Directives Ensure patients visits are opened in a timely manner and all data is captured correctly. Answer and triage all telephone inquiries appropriately. Triage and scheduled all incoming referral in a timely manner Ensure all follow-up appointments are made for patients. Engage in pre-registration and Mychart activation initiatives to improve ease of scheduling and patient satisfaction.Review AVS for instruction on the proper timeframe for their follow-up appointments. Ensure all communication to clinical staff (i.e. medication refill) is sent to the clinical team in basket via Epic.Maintain integrity of PHIAssist in sending out and documenting all correspondence to patients in Epic. Identify and Initiates telephone call to appropriate department to report broken or malfunctioning equipment.Escalates patients' complaints to immediate supervisor or practice administrator Participate in staff meeting and trainingsParticipates in access project, performance improvement and Breakthrough activities in the department.Shares responsibility for addressing patient flow issues, satisfaction and other patient issues.Participates in DMS and Breakthrough activities.Minimum Qualifications1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and2.
