Our culture is people-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented.Summary:The Bartender greets guests, learns their preferences, answers questions, recommends menu items, and prepares and serves beverages and food. Additionally, the bartender upsells items, creates recipes, utilizes proper equipment, and handles basic cleaning duties.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepares alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and serves tables as neededInteracts with customers, takes orders, and serves snacks and drinksAssesses customers' needs and preferences and makes recommendationsMixes ingredients to prepare cocktailsPlans and presents bar menuChecks customers' identification and confirms it meets legal drinking ageRestocks and replenishes bar inventory and suppliesStays guest focused and nurtures an excellent guest experienceAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked, and cleanAbility to lift andor move up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time RequirementsQualifications:Complies with all state food and beverage regulations (alcohol training and current certificate)Proven work experience as a bartenderExcellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinksComputer literacyFluency in a second language is a plusPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryAnnual review with increase potential401k program with company matchAdditional benefits may be availableArbor's Guiding Principles:Arbor Lodging focuses on Five Guiding Principles to foster a culture where growth, development, and progression thrive within the properties: Do the Right Thing - Operate and act with integrity in all you do even when it is not convenient.
