This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in the finance industry.Salary: $45K - $55KLocation: Long IslandFive TownsResponsibilities: Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry to support various departments, ensuring timely completion. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile external bank accounts to align with internal records. Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, verify transactions, and ensure timely vendor payments. Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. Internal Reconciliation: Conduct monthly account reconciliations to maintain accuracy. Payout Sheets: Prepare and review payout sheets for accuracy and timely processing. ACH Debits: Oversee ACH debit transactions, ensuring secure and precise payments. Qualifications: Background in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to the NYC office as needed. Willingness to work until 7 pm and late nights on occasion.
