The Key Account Manager delivers sales and business results according to the sales strategy as set by VP Global Sales and the President of Profoto North America and is responsible for the sale and promotion of Profoto products via dealers in New York City. This should be done by encouraging resale to end users within the agreed frameworks of the sales strategy. The main task of the job is to grow and develop identified accounts but also to develop new accounts and channels in the defined market. The Key Account Manager defines the goals to be achieved and develops plans with assigned key accounts with the aim of partnership to achieve the set business anizationThe Key Account Manager reports to the President of Profoto North America.The position is home based in the NYC metro area, as you must be able to travel to visit dealers and end customers throughout the defined marked area and to eventstrade shows on a daily basis.Major responsibilities are listed below Profoto business development Quarterly setting sales targets and driving growth in your region Responsible for maximizing ROI with allocated marketing budget Responsible for executing launches and campaigns Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel environment and driving growth in both traditional and new channels Ensure execution of profitable events and follow up performance in Profoto event tracker Participate in periodic assigned North American events and meetings at Profoto HQ or any other location Perform co-visits with dealer to B2B accounts (rentals, studios and schools) Develop a strong relationship with cooperation partners in the region, e.g. camera manufacturers Every quarter doing account sales planning and forecast update and reporting Efficiently lead and manage your dealers and their staff towards the set company targets and targets for the regionExperienceUniversity degree with a minimum of 5 years sales experienceProven experience in a multi-channel sales environment and knowledge of both direct and indirect salesmarketingStrong business mindset with great skills and experience in negotiations with key accountsExcellent holistic thinking and conceptual selling skills - "selling a story"Manage the business with a data-driven approach - "Having an account plan and knowing your numbers"Detailed and thorough knowledge of the professional photography industry, competitors, dealers, and end usersTechnical skills or product technical orientation is an advantageSkills within Microsoft 365Must be able to travel extensivelyPersonal SkillsResult-oriented with a creative mindset combined with a strong drive to winCareer-driven with a strong ability to work and deliver in a rapidly changing environmentTeam player, working across functions in an international business environmentOutstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English are requiredAction and competence-drivenProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityHas an open mindset, embraces, and continuously initiates and implements change!Want to join Profoto - The Light Shaping Company?If you feel you have what it takes to become our new Key Account Manager for NYC, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn profile.
