All positions are onsite, unless otherwise stated.Job Description:Join our Global Security team as a Command Center Analyst and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our employees, assets, and reputation worldwide.As a Command Center Analyst within our Global Security team, you will be integral to protecting the firm's employees and assets worldwide. Your role involves coordinating with security, resiliency, and intelligence professionals to ensure comprehensive preparedness and response to major crises and daily disruptions. You will monitor, research, and analyze data to support incident management, regulatory compliance, and the safety of corporate buildings, employees, and clients. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will help safeguard customer assets, stockholder interests, and the firm's reputation.Job Responsibilities:Participate in security incident response on a daily basis, identifying and triaging potential impacts to the firm's employees, assets, and areas of operationMonitor situational security including gathering information from a variety of sources internal to and external of the firm; normalizing and correlating the information; providing real-time detection and response services for incidents that directly or indirectly impact the firm's employees, assets, or areas of operationCompose and track incident Information to resolution; inform security, resiliency, facility, and technology responders; deliver information in verbal or written updates via internal communication platforms (ex. Symphony)Escalate sensitive or high-impact incidents to senior managers and executives, including members of the JP Morgan Chase Operating CommitteeProvide logistical support for crisis management teams, including exercise coordination, roster maintenance, and crisis call facilitationTriage and escalate cases of workplace violence to relevant security and threat management teamsMonitor and administer travel security operations in accordance with procedures, including tracking, assisting, and advising international travelers on security issues across the regionMonitor and support site and regional crisis management conference calls, gathering and providing intelligence and information (weather, travel, security, etc.) as requiredConduct proactive research into potential risks; monitor external media feeds for threats to the firm's facilities andor senior managementWork overnights, weekends, holidays, and during crises as neededPerform special projects and research as required by GSOC management or as conditions warrantAdditional QualificationsResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:Bachelor's degree, equivalent militarylaw enforcement, andor joint operations centersecurity operations center experience required.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Experience in GIS Systems (ESRI)Able to establish, foster and maintain trust-based relationships with a diverse portfolio of stakeholders.A clear and timely communicator, able to adjust communications styles to interact with a range of audiences.Confident and collaborative, able to offer constructive challenge to status quos and to provide and seek diverse perspectives.A wholehearted commitment to diversity, respect and inPreference for directly transferable experience, and awareness & knowledge of incident management, business resilience, and security operations.
