Changing the way we all think about car buying is just the beginning. Role Summary Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Collision Technician to join our team. The Collision Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition following manufacturer and industry standards. This role requires expertise in bodywork, frame repair, painting, and refinishing, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.More about the rolePerform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.Assess vehicle damage and create repair plans based on estimates and insurance guidelines.Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as necessary to complete repairs.Sand, prime, and refinish surfaces using proper painting techniques.Operate welding and cutting tools for metal and plastic component repairs.Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.Work with estimators and insurance adjusters to ensure accurate repair documentation.Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.Stay up to date with industry advancements, repair techniques, and certifications.What we look forASE or I-CAR certification(s) preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in collision repair or related field.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized body shop equipment.Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, frame alignment, and refinishing processes.Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and technical manuals.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance optionsShort-term and Long-term disability insurance 401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and holiday leaveOpportunities for professional development and growthOurisman Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
