They partner with HR and Benefits to ensure employees are paid correctly. They collect information from time keeping system to calculate pay. The Payroll Specialist partners with compensation teams to research commission based inquiries and works with ADP to resolve garnishment issues and inquiries.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcesses bi-weekly payrolls by preparing computer input forms, entering data regarding wages and deductions, and posting to payroll recordsReviews computed wages and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll Research and Provide documentation for legal departmentResearches and responds to employee payroll inquiresPartner with HR and Benefits to ensure employee issues are resolved timelyResearches and responds to garnishment inquiriesAnalyzes and audits financial reports and payroll deductionsAssists clubs with monthly revenue payroll reportsReviews banking files to ensure accuracy and success of transmissionPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED2 years of payroll experienceAbility to meet weekend commitments based on deadlinesExcellent organization and spreadsheet skills Preferred RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting or a related fieldCertified Payroll ProfessionalFundamental Payroll Certification2 or more years high volume payroll experiencePayBenefitsAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:A fully subsidized membershipDiscounts on Life Time products and services401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)Training and professional developmentPaid sick leave where required by lawFull-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageShort term and long term disability insuranceLife insurancePre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plansParental leave and adoption assistancePaid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leaveDeferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income thresholdLife Time is a place for everyone.
