They should be proactive, hardworking, and capable of handling both housekeeping and some house management responsibilities including packing, overseeing vendors, inventory, etc. The role requires someone who is physically fit, able to climb ladders for deep cleaning, and knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques for fine materials, including marble care and garment maintenance. Strong English skills are necessary to communicate with doormen and vendors, take messages, and oversee household inventory to ensure supplies never run low. Above all, honesty and trustworthiness are essential-this person must be diligent in protecting valuables and immediately report any issues.
