HVAC Technician

With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a HVAC Technician to our dynamic team.Scope of Work: In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVACR systems in a CommercialFacility Setting in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.Job Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipmentDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVACR systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of partsConduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of HVACR systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiencyTest HVACR systems for proper functioning and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performanceRespond to calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely mannerAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVACR work, including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materialsDocument all work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-keepingProvide recommendations to clients regarding HVACR system upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to improve efficiency and performanceCollaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Requirements Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteriaProven experience as an HVACR Technician in commercial andor industrial HVACR settings, with a minimum of 5 years in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVACR systemsCertification or licensure as an HVACR Technician in New York, with a strong understanding of HVACR principles, practices, and regulationsKnowledge of environmental regulations related to HVACR systems and refrigerants. (R-22, R-410A, R-134A)Certifications in specific HVACR systems or technologies (e.g., NATE certification) preferred but not requiredProficiency in troubleshooting HVACR systems and using diagnostic tools and equipmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team membersStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a teamShift: To Be Determined: (Morning, Midday and Evening)Compensation: $29.28 - $31.17 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k. **This is a Local 30 Union Operation.
