This includes fabricating standard parts, as well as custom parts, building complete products, and inspecting the work performed to meet internal and external requirements.JOB DUTIES:Fabricate plastic piece parts, turntables, cabinets, and fusion assemblies, and perform solvent welding and other tasks as assignedRead and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine fabrication requirementsSelect and prepare plastic materials for welding, ensuring they are clean and free from defectsOperate hand and power tools, such as grinders and cutters, to shape and trim plastic components as requiredInspect components to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustmentsPerform secondary machining operations as requiredHelp to ensure the products we manufacture meet or exceed customer quality expectationsEnsure adherence to production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries, working closely with production schedulerTake the initiative to identify and implement improvements to our processes along with the products we deliverFollow all safety procedures, along with 5S standardsParticipate as an active team member and be willing to cross-train as required (i.e. machining and assembly areas)Train and assist others as requiredAdhere to and follow all Company policiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentCertificate or diploma in welding or related field or equivalent work experience in weldingfabricationAbility to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision and effectively plan, organize, and execute own activitiesAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors and colleaguesAbility to read and interpret technical prints and drawings without assistanceAbility to read and understand Safety Data SheetsAbility to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performedAbility to use hand and power toolsAbility to weld in all positions and work with all types of plastic materialsAbility to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistanceAbility to work well with others and take direction and feedbackStrong attention to detail and ability to problem-solveWillingness to work overtime when requiredAdditional InformationAn offer of employment at Apollo is subject to a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.Apollo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity andor expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
