Job Description: PURPOSE OF JOB: To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Accurately identify the patient and select the patient's medical record Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately Identify and collect patient's copayment for Emergency services as applicable 5. Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance Job Qualifications: Education: High School or equivalent is required B. Experience: HospitalInsurance experience preferred C. Other Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Negotiation and Problem Solving Skills Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Excellent communication skills Ability to work productively as part of a teamD.
