As pioneers of the "revolving sushi" concept, we combine advanced technology, premium ingredients, and affordable prices to enhance the unique revolving sushi dining experience.*What is your favorite type of sushi? - Discover your Sushi passion!*At Kura Sushi USA, our Opening Team Members are responsible for leading, instructing, coaching and managing all new store members and trainees in ensuring exceptional guest experience and support the current company expansion plans.Our Opening Team Members travel and stay from weeks to months at new or existing stores to assist with training and store operations.Expectations:Educate and train hands-on work on an on-going basis to employees, respond to customer service needs, or otherwise role model appropriate behaviors in the storeMonitors, coaches, models, and can complete all product, prepping, line set-up, or cleaning assignment accurately, neatly, and within assigned timeModels, coaches, and maintains proper food handling, safety, and cleaning and sanitation standards while preparing food.Consistently models and demonstrates how to clean food-prepping equipment thoroughlyManages progressions of new employees' skills after multiple training.Maintains a positive work environment for all team memberstrainees at all timesAbility to develop positive and professional working relationships with all team members and work as a team by helping as needed or requestedEffectively use training techniques of repetition, modeling, and reflection to better meet the learning needs of team memberstraineesAdheres and follows training materials to maintain validity of material being taughtActively collaborates with training team to evaluate training techniques and materials to meet more diverse needs of the team memberstraineesCommitted to engaging in ongoing training initiatives to improve leadership and training skills to better the brandProvides a high level of attention to guest satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and customersActively displays knowledge of all food menu items and current promotionsAbility to maintain a professional appearance at all timesTrainers must be willing to work any hours of operation, willing to work long hours during holiday and new store openingExtensive travel for both short and long period of time should be expectedComplies with Company policy against Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation in the Workplace.Travel 90+% of the timeSchedule:Full-time Exempt positionAvailability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:Kura Sushi encourages learning & growth, and we reward team members who meet and exceed Kura's standards of success.
