ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER - Rosedale 3

This shift is 40 hours per week (Tues - Sat 12pm - 8pm). Must be able to work flexible as needed .The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits packageLife's WORC offers a great benefits package, including:- Very affordable health and dental insurance- Company Matching 403(b) program- Generous Paid Time Off policy- Tuition and text book reimbursement- regular incremental bonusesQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredOne year's experience working with people with developmental disabilitiesSix months' supervisory experience preferredValid Driver's License requiredMust be able to pass a pre-employment road test and drive an agency vehicleRESPONSIBILITIESProvide ongoing protective oversight to people living in the residence247 On-Call accessibilityAssist with scheduling, personnel-related issues, training of residential staff and other delegated tasksProvide on-going supervision of residential staffProvide assistance and instruction for each person in basic activities of daily livingProvide training and support for each person in accordance with the person's program planParticipate in the selection and evaluation of staffSuccessfully complete the AMAP course and annual recertificationGeneral lifting is required (ie: laundry, groceries etc.)Drive agency vehicles; demonstrate safe driving practices; participate in agency driver safety courseResponsible for NYS Vehicle Inspection and all routine maintenance of agency vehiclesConduct road tests with prospective and current employees on agency's vehicle in accordance with Life's WORC road test procedures.Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment including a weekly walk-throughs with Residence ManagerEnsure for adherence to agency quality standards of operation; make decisions in conjunction with and in the absence of the Residence Manager that drive operational processesBecome skilled with agency software (ie: Medisked, Outlook, Ultipro etc.)Responsible for adhering to agency policies (Cash Policy, Medisked Attestation etc.)Assist people supported in planning, coordinating and attending community integrationinclusion activities within their homes and communityThis shift is 40 hours per week.
