We provide planning, design, and management solutions for organizations that want efficient and sustainable building environments that are healthier and safer for their occupants.SitelogIQ's IT Asset Management Internship program offers college students the opportunity to get exposure to different areas within the IT field, specifically to asset management. This summer internship is a comprehensive eight-to-twelve-week experience where interns will get to work alongside SitelogIQ's employees to learn about their roles and responsibilities in the office. Travel is limited and generally contained within the Minneapolis-St Paul area.The hourly range for this role is $20 - $25. The hourly rate may vary within the range based on factors such as location of the role, and a candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.IT Asset Management Intern ResponsibilitiesUses IT management tools to compile a comprehensive list of software, applications, and licenses.Populates our Freshservice asset management database with the correct asset details and ownership.Confirms applicability and ownership of various software solutions.Produces IT asset management reports that help management maintain compliance and a safe, secure environment.Supports end-users with a resolution of issues at the direction of the IT System Administrator.Reaches out to end-users to confirm need.At the end of the internship, the individual will produce an executive summary and recommendations to management based on their internship scope and experience.IT Asset Management Intern Qualifications Interest in Information Technology fields, currently enrolled in an Information Technology degree program with either a 2 or 4 year college.Strong knowledge of applications like Microsoft Windows and Office, smartphones, and PC hardware configuration.Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.An aptitude for communications and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships (internally and externally) is a must.The candidate should be a self-starter who is well organized and a team player, have strong communications skills, and be able to multi-task and work under established deadlines.Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit, talk andor hear, andor use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools or controls. The position may require lifting, moving, and installing IT equipment with weights in the 25-pound range. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
