Project Manager, Vendor Risk Management

Leading Financial Services Firm in Manhattan, New York!Long term contract with competitive rate and opportunity for conversion!About Our ClientA Wealth Management Firm known for its extensive range of financial products and services, including asset management, risk management, and advisory services.Job DescriptionSupport the VRM Regulatory Implementation & Enhancement project, presenting updates to Senior Management and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Review and update policies, procedures, controls, metrics, and training materials for both lines of defense.Assist with ongoing monitoring, risk tracking, data analytics, control testing, and ad-hoc projects to support risk management efforts.Prepare and present reports on risks, controls, action plans, and project milestones to ensure effective risk management.Provide strategic guidance for the continuous improvement of VRM and purchasing functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.THIS POSITION IS BASED ONSITE IN NEW YORK CITY!
