We are growing and are looking to add a Technical Account Manager, based in Illinois, to cover the Great Lakes area.Who We are:GracoRoberts headquartered in Arlington, TX is proud to be the single largest and most technically focused specialty chemicals distributor to serve the global aerospace market.Territory: Great Lakes areaHomebase: IllinoisBase Salary: $80,000-$85,000yrBenefits:Open commissionMonthly car allowanceCell phone allowanceCorporate cardMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceShort-Term and Long-term disabilityEAPSummary:Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a technical sales role - applying a deep understanding of engineered material technologies, customer & technical service capabilities, on-going sales and marketing strategies, customer projects and priorities into daily activities directed towards achieving sales goals.What You Will Do Everyday:Balance existing and new account responsibilities - meeting or exceeding individual performance and growth goals for your assigned geographic territory across aerospace, electronics, military and other key industry segments.Employ consultative value and solution-selling approaches across multiple levels and functions of customer anize, prioritize and plan for the needs of new business initiatives.Provide ongoing relationship management.Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Position will equate to approximately 6040 existing accounts to new business.Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred.Two or more years of composite material and process technology work experience or equivalent technical material sales required.Aerospace or adhesive experience is strongly preferred.A drive to develop contacts, make relationships and build sales.Technical acumen and ability to quickly learn new techniques and develop application insight.Ability to travel > 50% of the time to client facilities in the US.Work AuthorizationSecurity Clearance Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.Equal Opportunity Employer:GracoRoberts is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
