Job SummaryPreschool Teacher Saint Raphael Preschool is seeking a creative and experienced preschool teacher to join our warm and nurturing community. Saint Raphael Preschool, rooted in the Dominican tradition, is committed to partnering with parents in the spiritual, physical, emotional, psychological, academic, and intellectual development of young children. Our preschool provides a safe environment where children can further their awareness of God's love and creation through informal and formal interaction with adults and other children. Saint Raphael Preschool opened in 2004 on the campus of Saint Raphael K-8 School (est.1889) in downtown San Rafael. We are a Catholic Preschool welcoming all families of diverse backgrounds and faith traditions. We have two classrooms; one for 3-year-olds and one for 4-year-olds. Website: Responsibilities: ? Help the lead teacher implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. ? Create a stimulating and secure learning environment that fosters curiosity and exploration. ? Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child & group. ? Foster a love of learning through play-based activities, songs, and stories. Qualifications: ? Minimum 2 years of experience teaching preschool or in an early childhood education setting. ? Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices. ? Proven ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. ? Excellent communication, collaboration skills, team player, and flexibility. ? Ability to multi-task effectively and manage time efficiently. ? A love for working with young children and a passion for early childhood education. ? Minimum 12 ECE units required ? Hours 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (closing with other staff members) ?
