Sales Representative Job Num: 56890 h5Job DescriptionPosition: Sales RepresentativeLocation: Novi, MISalary: $81K - (DOE) + BonusBenefits: Health, Dental, Life, Vision, 401K, Long-term disabilityHours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pmSales RepresentativePosition Summary:The sales representative's main responsibilities are developing new customers for machine sales and following up existing and potential customers in the automotive and other industry, making arrangements to complete the projects, and this position requires project management and communicating with our parent company in Japan where the machines are manufactured.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development•Find new business (New customer) directly or corroborate with machine distributers and make phone calls, emails, and visit customer prospects and distributers.•Research new markets and customers.•Develop relationship with machine distributers: Mainly for new user of the company's products and such as machining center, Special purpose machine, Grinding machine, Battery equipment and others for Automotive, Aero Space, Medical and other industries.Following up customers and distributers•Follow up ongoing projects and reports any related issues and customers' and distributer's requests to the management and communicate with the salesengineering department in Japan•Travel to customer sites, distributers and the plant in Japan•Make presentations to customers and distributesProject Management•Ensure the progress of the projects and make necessary arrangementsReporting•Report sales activities to the management team (weekly, monthly and anytime when requested) •Report any issues, inquiries and customer requests to the manager and appropriate departments in the parent company in JapanRequirements•B2B Sales experience is a must.
